Announces a certificate course in Music Therapy for the year 2020-21

(For Parents, special educators and any one interested in helping children with special needs)

Duration- 9 months

Start date: July 2020

Class timings- Saturdays-10.30 am to 1.30 pm

(Two hours of theory and one hour of singing/practice session)

                          

Venue: Information & Resource Centre,No.9,  Shankarmutt Road, Next to Shankarapuram Police Station, Shankarapuram,  Basavanagudi, Bangalore: 560004.

Medium of Instruction- English and Kannada

Eligibility: A deep passion and commitment to work with children with special needs. A minimum educational qualification of 12^th STD and above, knowledge of some form of music and singing ability.

9. Designing music therapy sessions and use of various games and tools in therapy

10. Research studies on music therapy
